The Urban Outreach Center is a premier, independent social services center, located at Jan Hus Presbyterian Church and Neighborhood House (351 E 74th ST in Manhattan). Our purpose is to provide a complete range of resources to support the full worth and dignity of every person. The Urban Outreach Center’s programs and services are a lifeline for the most vulnerable populations from all five boroughs of New York City, providing material and spiritual comfort and a warm, compassionate environment.
The Urban Outreach Center is inclusive and progressive. All are welcome here.
Whether you need a suit and tie for your upcoming job interview or, simply, a pair of socks or a sleeping bag, our three clothing rooms for men, women, and children, are a lifeline for hundreds of people daily.
